Fueled by innovation at the intersection of biology and technology, we're developing the next generation of smarter, less invasive, more personalized treatments. We're pioneering the development and commercialization of Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) to treat complex calcified cardiovascular disease. Our Shockwave Medical portfolio aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque.
Position Overview
The Principal BSA-Costing will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of the Costing module in Shockwave's Oracle Cloud ERP platform. This role involves documenting functional requirements, integrations, and change control compliance for the Cost function of Oracle Cloud ERP. The role will also participate in designing the overall application architecture to support end-to-end processes across multiple business applications.
Essential Job Functions

• Implement and configure Costing functions to meet business needs.
  
• Collaborate with Supply Chain team to ensure end-to-end cost management functions are established for new projects.
  
• Partner with Finance Costing teams to understand business processes and align system design accordingly.
  
• Optimize costing functions to increase process efficiency.
  
• Coordinate evaluation, scope, testing, approval, and completion of new development requests.
  
• Work with other business functions like Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service.
  
• Streamline cost accounting for different business models such as Intercompany, Drop shipments, Inter-org transfers, and consignment processes.
  
• Work with Costing & FPA teams to streamline system reports related to COGS, Inventory valuation, Variance analysis, etc.
  
  Requirements
  
  
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent preferred.
  
• 10 years of experience in an IT environment.
  
• Experience implementing cost management for various cost models-Standard / Average costing.
  
• Strong background in Cost Management, Financial reporting, and manufacturing processes.
  
• Understanding of Cost accounting concepts and principles.
  
• Knowledge of Oracle Inventory, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain modules is a plus.
  
• Oracle cost management certification is highly desirable.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities.
  
• Experience in FDA-regulated environments is preferred.

• The anticipated base pay for this position ranges from $105,000 to $169,050 annually.
  
• This position is eligible for an annual performance bonus based on individual and company performance.
