We want you to develop the best algorithms to extract insights from that corpus of customer feedback, build the best models to measure the value of those insights, and contribute to creating and improving our data products with these models.Responsibilities:
  • Under the guidance of one of our data scientists, you will be expected to take the lead on a project and take it end-to-end from understanding business needs, to problem formulation, to modeling and prototyping, until it is ready to be productionalized.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product, engineering, operations, marketing and sales teams to unlock new opportunities for growth.
  • Apply machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques to build new product features or enhance existing ones.
  • Additional duties as assigned.Qualifications:
    • You should be comfortable working independently, while still ready to ask for help or guidance when needed.
    • Demonstrated ability to solve problems using data.
    • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field. Graduate degree and/or industry experience are a plus.
    • A strong background in machine learning, stochastic modeling, predictive analytics and experience applying these techniques. Experience with NLP/text analytics is a plus.
    • Strong communication skills. You are able to explain models intuitively to engineers, PMs, executives, and clients.
    • Proficiency in Python, R, or similar and with related machine learning packages.
    • Proficiency in SQL is a plus.
    • Data visualization experience is a plus.
    • Strong programming skills and/or experience or a strong interest in cluster computing frameworks such as Apache Spark are a plus.When you join Reputation, you can expect:
