We need a CRM Specialist who will be responsible for Salesforce
configurations, change requests, system administration, building
reports and dashboards within Salesforce, manage setup, user
permissions, custom page layouts, and create and maintain
documentation on processes, process flow, policies, protocols,
application configuration, and help-related materials for
users.Here are the essential responsibilities---
- Manage multiple stakeholders' engagements and work with
associated team members to understand requirements and facilitate
business process analysis sessions.
- Manage Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows,
groups, user setup, fields, object customizations, record types,
page layouts, templates, validations.
- Provide Salesforce technical & business assistance to all end
users. Prepare training material and provide end-user training via
web conferencing and/or recorded presentations.
- Build customized reports and dashboards within Salesforce
including ad-hoc requests and maintain the sales cloud.
- Proactively recommend new features and improvements to optimize
and grow the use of the platform.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to build, iterate, and
improve existing or new processes and functions.
- Perform maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and
duplicate entry cleansing. Implement data maintenance procedures to
enhance and improve data integrity.
- Support daily activity of the Salesforce platform, supporting
users and correcting unanticipated issues that arise throughout the
day. Identify and document the root cause of issues and recommend
continuous improvement to prevent reoccurrence.
- Work with consultants, developers, and vendors on platform
enhancements and development projects, including integration with
systems such as Office 365, DocuSign, Active Directory, and other
software applications.
- Update and maintain a bug tracking system containing bugs and
enhancements. Work platform issues in priority order, making
corrections and testing as specified, updating issue resolution
information and associated documentation.
- Communicate with managers, project sponsors, co-workers,
customers, and/or consultants regarding the status of specific
projects, features, issues.
- Coordinate with user groups and developers to determine
appropriate timing for production releases.
Education and Experience
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce configurations,
customizations, security, workflows, profiles, roles, permissions,
objects, fields, Reports, templates.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud and Salesforce
Pardot.
- Background in CRM process design and implementations.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to interact and work effectively with superiors, peers,
consultants, end-users, State employees, and outside
vendors.
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group
situations to others inside and outside the organization.
- Carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram
form.
- Apply logical and technical concepts to identify and define
problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid
conclusions.
- Work appropriately with Salesforce platform and data issues
that involve several variables in potentially complex
situations.
