Job Description Job Description Manufacturing Logistics Manager Manufacturing Planning Manager Location: Fremont, OH Salary: $95k-$125k Position Overview The Manufacturing Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the production planning process to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. This role involves coordinating with various departments to align production schedules with supply chain capabilities, manage inventory levels, and implement best practices in planning and logistics. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement production planning strategies to meet customer demand and optimize manufacturing efficiency. Collaborate with production, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products. Monitor and analyze production schedules and inventory levels, adjusting plans as necessary to avoid shortages or excess. Lead continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes and planning methodologies. Utilize ERP systems to track production metrics and enhance planning accuracy. Manage a team of planners, providing guidance and support to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing planning or a similar role. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and logistics. Experience with ERP systems, preferably Macola. Ability to manage high-volume and low-volume production environments effectively.
