Job Description:

Staff Software Engineer focusing on iOS applications, you'll play a
pivotal role in forming the technological backbone of our retail
environment. Situated at our headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas,
this position is critical as we evolve our mobile platforms to
create engaging in-store and online experiences for millions of
customers globally. Design and build advanced applications for the
iOS platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define,
design, and ship new features. Unit-test code for robustness,
including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Work on
bug fixing and improving application performance. Continuously
discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize
development efficiency and provide user value. Ensure the
performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Help
maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. Proficient
in Swift and Objective-C. Experience with iOS frameworks such as
Core Data, Core Animation, etc. Experience with offline storage,
threading, and performance tuning. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to
connect iOS applications to back-end services. Advanced
understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface
guidelines. Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred.
Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools. Medical

Apple Certified iOS Technician (ACiT) certification preferred.
Certification for Swift or Objective-C expertise is
advantageous.
