Job Description:

* $5k sign-on bonus, and we pay 75% of the health benefit premiums* Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*--- Lead the engineering team on mission-critical initiatives, both medium and long-term--- Define and implement coding standards according to best practices--- Help build an Agile development culture--- Ensure all technology is in compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA--- Assist in creating a technology/engineering department from recruiting to strategy to execution--- Act as a mentor by empowering the engineering team to build solutions that emphasize quality, simplicity, and reliability--- Create timelines for the development and deployment of all services--- Make executive decisions on behalf of the company's requirements--- Be creative about new technologies for inclusion in future products--- Work with the business to not only develop products but also inform the company on how leveraging certain technologies can help us become more successful--- Improve and optimize the software, including architecture and infrastructure*REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS*--- Minimum of a bachelor's degree (preferably in either computer science/engineering, a quantitative domain like math/stats/physics, economics, or a related field), or equivalent experience--- 7+ years of experience in programming, including C#, .NET development , Angular 4 or above, and React JS, and strong familiarity with MS tools such as Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio--- Strong experience with distributed storage and database systems, including SQL and Azure Blob Storage or similar--- Expertise in several object-oriented languages and an eagerness to learn more--- Proven working experience leveraging Apple WatchKit with HealthKit--- Experience working with various wearable sensors: gyroscope, moisture sensor, accelerometer/motion sensor, proximity sensor, etc.--- Strong experience with cloud platforms, with a preference for Microsoft Azure--- Prior experience with health data standards/protocols and integration, including HL7--- Experience building native mobile applications (iOS), utilizing Apple development tools, and web development--- Experience consuming and implementing REST APIs and experience with GraphQL--- Heavy understanding or best practices, including SOLID design principles, Domain-Driven Design, and Contract First Development--- Hardware experience in new technology trends is a definite bonus: IoT, Wearables (Apple Watch)--- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with all levels of engineers/staff--- Ability to challenge the status quo, be a self-starter, and think outside the box--- Ability to lead and mentor other team members*DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS*--- 3+ years experience leading a team within a regulated and/or safety-critical systems is required; experience working in the medical device industry and understanding of regulations and standards such as 21CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485, and IEC 62304 Medical Device Software preferred.
