Job Description Valent is currently searching for a Software Developer to work with our Informational Technology Team. This is position will be based at our North America Innovations Center (NAIC) in San Ramon, CA. or Valent Biosciences Center (VBC) in Libertyville, IL. Valent U.S.A. General Description: The Software Developer operates in the web and client/server development sphere within the Information Technology department and is part of a technical team of network engineers, host programmers, client/server programmers, and business analysts. The candidate will utilize their experience with web, client/server development tools and architecture to: Principal Responsibilities: Architect software solutions and platforms to solve complex business processes. Provide thought leadership to a team of highly skilled and agile engineers. Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; define and develop short-term and long-term software development processes. Train and help other engineers with technical and non-technical matters. Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments and clear code. Work with user community to develop specifications, provide support, and training Analyze complex business and technical processes to create new or updated processing systems. Be a member of the development team focused on the delivery of new or existing technical solutions. Be responsible for either performing or coordinating all steps in the development life cycle. Qualifications: Minimum of BA/BS in Computer Science or Similar Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Engineering Minimum of 3 years of experience maintaining and administrating SharePoint On-Prem and SharePoint Online Building, deploying, and maintaining active web applications using IIS, TFS, and Jenkins Excellent writing and verbal communication skills Ability to lead and collaborate with others Strong problem solving and time management skills T echnical Language Skills, including the following: Must have ASP.NET, .Net core, C# or equivalent MS SQL server, TSQL JSON, XML, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, Angular 4 SharePoint, PowerShell, InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, Workflows Jenkins or knowledge of CI/CD processes TFS, GIT or similar Visual Studio 2012 Nice to have Content Management System Third party support packages Experience with SAP S4/Hana Experience with MS Power Apps and Flows Physical Demands and Work Environment (OFFICE Position) The physical demands and work environment characteristics described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
