Job Description TheraEX Staffing Services is seeking a Physician Assistant Urology for a locum tenens job in Santa Rosa, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Urology - Discipline: Physician Assistant - Start Date: 06/30/2026 - Duration: 26 weeks - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Locum Tenens Locum Tenens Urology Physician Assistant (PA) Location: Santa Rosa, CA Assignment Dates: July 1, 2026 – December 1, 2026 Position Type: Locum Tenens (Full-Time) Position Overview We are seeking a Urology Physician Assistant (PA) for a full-time locum assignment starting in July. The provider will work closely with a supervising physician throughout the week, supporting both inpatient and outpatient urology services. This role focuses on clinical care, rounding, and consults—no surgical assisting required. Schedule - Monday – Friday (5 days/week) - 7:00 AM – 9:30 AM: Inpatient rounds, documentation, inbox - 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM: Clinic inbox management - Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours/day - No call required Practice Details - Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient - Patients per Shift: ~13 - EMR: Epic - Privileges: Hospital privileges required (no temp privileges) - Coverage Reason: Vacancy (Medical Leave) Key Responsibilities - Conduct inpatient rounding and consults - Manage outpatient urology clinic visits - Review labs, imaging, and patient documentation - Collaborate closely with supervising physician - Maintain timely EMR documentation and inbox management Requirements - Active California PA License - DEA Certification (CA) - Urology experience required - Surgical assist experience preferred (not required for this role) - BLS & ACLS certifications preferred Additional Information - No admissions required - Provider must be comfortable managing both inpatient and outpatient cases - Lead physician may directly contact candidates after CV review About TheraEX Staffing Services TheraEx Staffing Services is a leading name in healthcare staffing solutions.
