Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to serve in a school setting located in Salinas, CA. This role involves providing in-person therapy for a diverse caseload spanning preschool through high school students. Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to approximately 50 students, ranging from preschool age (3-5 years) through high school. Support multiple school sites including seven rural schools, one high school, a small school district, and a regional preschool program. Collaborate with another OT to manage caseloads flexibly depending on experience. Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports. Participate in team meetings and coordinate care within the school setting. Qualifications: Active Occupational Therapist license in California is required. Experience working with school-aged children and knowledge of school-based OT practices preferred. Ability to manage a caseload with diverse age groups from preschool to high school. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within educational teams.
