About the Position Our client in California is seeking a dedicated
Radiologist Physician for a 30-day assignment starting May 18,
2026. This role involves comprehensive hospital coverage with 8:00
AM to 4:30 PM shifts, including interventional radiology needs,
stroke CTs, and other procedures. The Physician will also provide
outpatient coverage for contrasted CTs, MRIs, and breast biopsies.
Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive hospital
radiology coverage, including interventional radiology needs.
Manage stroke CTs and other associated procedures. Perform required
procedures such as lumbar punctures, barium studies, and various
centesis exams with drains. Conduct CT/US biopsies as preferred.
Execute IR procedures including Thoracentesis, Paracentesis,
Nephrostomy Tubes, Intra-abdominal abscess drainage, Chest Tubes,
and Suprapubic Catheters. Perform biopsies of the Thyroid, Lung,
and other relevant areas. Cover outpatient services requiring a
Radiologist to be present for contrasted CTs, MRIs, and breast
biopsies. Additional Information Board Certifications:
