Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based Occupational Therapist position is available in Oakland, CA, to support an elementary caseload. This role involves providing direct, in-person therapy services one day per week (7 hours), focusing on helping students develop and enhance their fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills within the school setting. Responsibilities include: - Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify student needs - Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans - Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student progress - Documenting therapy sessions and monitoring student outcomes - Adapting interventions to meet the diverse needs of the elementary caseload Desired qualifications and experience: - Valid Occupational Therapist license - Experience working in school settings preferred - Knowledge of pediatric OT strategies and school-based service delivery - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Ability to work independently during in-person sessions This is a contract position with a commitment of 7 hours per week, scheduled on a single day. The assignment is onsite and offers the possibility for renewal for the following school year based on performance and fit.
