Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An experienced Occupational Therapist is sought for a full-time, contract position serving K-12 students in Hayward, CA. This opportunity spans the 2025/2026 school year with a start date as soon as possible and extends through the end of the school year. The role involves working 35 to 40 hours per week across five days, supporting an itinerant caseload of approximately 55-60 students at three different school sites (not multiple locations in one day). Key responsibilities include: Providing occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs within the school setting Collaborating with educators and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Maintaining clear documentation and communication to support student progress Managing a caseload efficiently across assigned school sites Preferred qualifications and experience include: Valid Occupational Therapist credential or license Prior experience in school-based settings, with a strong preference for high school level expertise Ability to effectively deliver services in itinerant roles across multiple sites Strong organizational and communication skills to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams This position offers a competitive hourly rate above $50, commensurate with experience and interview outcomes.
