Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is actively seeking a dedicated
Occupational Therapist to join our team, offering the opportunity
to work both in facility-based and home-based settings across our
network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health
agencies. This role is pivotal in helping patients regain their
functionality and mobility, directly impacting their ability to
perform daily activities and improving their quality of life. The
ideal candidate will be committed to providing compassionate and
comprehensive patient care, utilizing tailored therapy practices to
meet diverse patient needs. Evaluate patient conditions to develop
effective occupational therapy treatment plans Implement
personalized therapy interventions to enhance patients' ability to
perform daily activities Record and document patient progress and
therapy outcomes Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to
assess patient needs and adjust treatments Educate patients and
families about home programs and continuity of care Maintain
professional knowledge and technical progress to provide the best
treatment program available Strong analytical skills to assess
patient needs and develop therapeutic plans Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, family, and
other healthcare providers Proficient in relevant healthcare
technologies and medical software Ability to manage multiple cases
efficiently while providing individualized care Medical Insurance
