Part-time Tele-Psychiatry Locums Job in California Details/Requirements: Provide comprehensive psychiatric care for adults (18) living with serious mental illness. Outpatient coverage, with a focus on patients at risk of psychiatric hospitalization, homelessness, or struggling with co-occurring substance use disorders. Flexible, community-based, trauma-informed care model. 24/7 on-call support is available, ensuring patients receive care whenever they need it. Outpatient services include medication management, individual therapy, case management, crisis intervention, and rehabilitation services. Average of 8-10 patients per day, with services tailored to meet their individual recovery needs. Must be comfortable working in a diverse, culturally informed environment and capable of using electronic health records (EHR).
