Summary: /n Shift: Days /n Job Type: Part Time /n Reporting to the
Nursing Director, this position utilizes the nursing process and
organizational/leadership skills to coordinate services of staff to
patients during the designated shift. Assures patient care is
appropriate to the age and developmental level of patients served.
Assesses staff need for the unit, collaborates with the staffing
coordinator, Nurse Director, and Administrative Nursing Supervisor
to ensure patient’s needs are met. Age-Specific Care Requirements:
Performs physical and psychosocial assessment of patients that
demonstrates knowledge and consideration of age specific and
cultural differences. Modifies nursing care to meet the age
specific requirements of the pediatric (3 to 12 years), adolescent
(13 to 17 years), adult (18 to 70 years), and geriatric (71 years)
