Job Description:

Must-Have: - Experience with couplet care and both high and
low-risk patients - Ability to circulate for vaginal and C-section
deliveries - Experience managing labor, inductions, and high-risk
mothers - Competency with postpartum/well baby care Description:
Start date is ASAP. Shift times are from 7 PM to 7 AM. Guaranteed
hours per week are 36. Weekend requirement is necessary. Float
requirement will be as needed based on skillset. Flu and COVID
vaccines are required; medical or religious exceptions are
accepted. The average number of births per month is 60. The average
age of mothers is 33 years, with many fertility patients, advanced
maternal age, gestational hypertension, gestational diabetes, and
insulin-dependent diabetes. Common procedures performed include
PCEA epidurals. There are two OR suites available for C-sections,
and staff will scrub but travel nurses should not expect to scrub.
Nurses will be required to titrate Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate,
Insulin, and Labetolol.
