We are looking for a Physician Assistant to join our medical practice full time in San Ramon, CA (30 miles E of San Francisco). Our ideal candidate has experience in physical and regen medicine, experience in joint and trigger point injections and an interest in functional medicine. The PA duties include performing medical and functional joint exams and performing joint and trigger point injections.

Our integrative medical approach combines multiple medical disciplines, working together in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients, resulting in superior outcomes.

Duties:

• 
  
• Patient Consultations (Review medical history, healthcare needs and goals, review pertinent records)
  
• Patient exams (Medical and Functional Joint Exam- trained to perform functional orthopedic joint examinations by the licensed health care team)
  
• Ultrasound Joint evaluations: Evaluate involved joint for necessary procedures and report to patient and colleagues
  
• Order and review diagnostic imaging/labs/bloodwork
  
• Diagnosis and Treatment plan formulation
  
• Patient education as to the treatment plan, care plan options, pre and post care, and DME/bracing options if deemed medically necessary
  
• Perform treatments to include Ultrasound guided joint injections, trigger point injections, and IV nutrition therapy
  
• Writing Medical Orders for bracing and or joint injections
  
• Collaborating with colleagues ( Rehab specialists-personal trainers) for comprehensive patient care
  
• Performing functional medicine evaluations and treatment
  
• Documentation- thorough, timely and accurate
  
• Regular patient follow up and care
  
  Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program (PA)
    
  • PA license to practice in CA
    
  • Experience in Joint injections preferred
    
  • Experience in Physical Medicine, functional medicine, and/or regen medicine a plus

    • Monday thru Friday
      
    • No Weekends or Nights
      
      Compensation (range):

      • $75-$85 per hour (based on experience)
