Our client located in Coastal California is seeking a HIM Manager to work at a Critical Access Hospital.Must have Your RHIT or RHIA. Great schools, affordable living and a better quality of life.JOB SUMMARYManages and oversees the management of the legal medical record, release of information, and birthregistry activities for the Hospital and Clinics, ensuring compliance with all applicable internaland external legal regulatory, and accreditation, requirements for medical records. Provides daily oversight andmanagement to Hospital and Clinics HIM / medical records staff that complete record management activities(processing, prepping, scanning, and indexing) birth registry, and release of information functions. Assists healthcareproviders with access and use of the electronic legal medical record.
