employees.Responsibilities
- Inspire, lead, and grow a high-performing global Employee
Relations team.
- Continually teach and develop your own and your team's advanced
skills in conflict resolution and facilitation, restorative
techniques, and mental health and crisis support.
- Oversee and define the company's approach to managing and
addressing Employee Relations escalations and concerns, working
from established (yet continuously improving) processes, protocols,
playbooks, and principles.
- Provide expert guidance and oversight on policies, programs,
strategies and organizational changes that may have implications
for company trust and culture, ensuring Employee Relations
involvement, and that they are built and delivered in the right
way.
- Help define the company's strategy and approach to external or
internal changes that have significant cultural or trust
implications (acquisitions, new regulations, decisions about hybrid
work, responses to external events impacting the work
environment).
- Evaluate, and define how Employee Relations will use AI and
other technologies to drive scale, consistency, and impact, with
right responsible data use.
- Partner with senior business leaders and HRBPs to develop
innovative ways to diagnose, share, and take action on insights
related to Employee Relations cases, broader leadership issues, or
organizational health.
- Drive and contribute to all People & Places priorities, both
directly and through the team.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to HRBPs, leadership, and the
broader People organization to prevent, diagnose, and address work
environment issues, employee workplace conflicts, or other policy,
organizational, or other changes that shape employee trust and our
culture.
- Ensure oversight and governance of People & Places policies
globally, and how we interpret and apply those policies.
- Be an advocate for employees and our people-first culture,
ensuring employees' voices are heard and concerns are addressed
with urgency and understanding.Minimum Qualifications
- BS/BA and JD degree preferred and 12 plus years of relevant
work experience and at least 6 years managing a global employee
relations team, or equivalent experience.
- Deep domain experience in one or more the following areas:
workplace conflict, mediation, trauma-informed techniques,
inclusion practices, leadership coaching, restorative justice,
and/or human resources/employment law.
- Talent steward able to successfully attract, develop, and
inspire top talent.
- Demonstrated success in applying human-centered, innovative
approaches to employee relations, with strong business and people
acumen.
- Best-in-class operational rigor in overseeing a high volume of
urgent, and highly-sensitive case and project work at a large
company, preferably using ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar
technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively, lead and influence at all
levels within the organization, and drive decisions across multiple
partners and leaders.
- In-depth understanding of all aspects of US employment and
human resources related laws, regulations, policies, principles,
concepts and practices, including ADA, ADEA and FMLA. Knowledge of
and experience with international labor practices in countries
where Intuit does business strongly preferred (US, Australia,
Canada, UK, India, Israel).
