Five9, is a market leader in the rapidly growing cloud-based customer experience software market. To complement our rapid growth and global expansion we are actively looking for aChief Information Security Officer (CISO)to lead Five9's expanding INFOSEC organization.
At Five9, the CISO is a key role bringing value to the organization by promoting a culture of security and compliance awareness and accountability through a comprehensive, proactive program. This position will develop strong relationships across the business including Product, Development, Cloud Operations, IT, Compliance, Finance, HR, and others. With the full support of executive management this leader will drive change across all disciplines to improve processes, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with PCI, SOX, SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR etc.
The CISO role will be located in proximity to one of Five9's major development sites, the San Francisco area, Melbourne, Australia or Porto, Portugal. Key Responsibilities:

• Build the INFOSEC organization to enable Five9's growth strategy
  
• Enhance and execute the company-wide global cybersecurity strategy & roadmap
  
• Interface with customers and partners to convey Five9's INFOSEC capabilities
  
• Engage with senior management and the board of directors
  
• Ensure a security minded, risk aware culture through documentation, training and governance
  
• Maintain information security policies, procedures, and guidelines consistent with industry standards
  
• Provide executive reporting/dashboards of current and historical security metrics
  
• Lead compliance efforts relating to PCI, SOX, SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.
  
• Responsible for security incident management
  
• Work with product & development organizations to mitigate risks, enhance application security and ensure data protection
  
• Ensure that disaster recovery and business continuity plans are tested regularly
  
• Provide guidance and prioritization of security initiatives/investments impacting Five9's security posture, based on appropriate risk/financial analysis
  
• Monitor the external environment for emerging threats, and advise relevant stakeholders on appropriate course of action
  
• Conduct global security training and awareness
  
• Create plans and prioritize security initiatives based on appropriate risk/financial analysis
  
  Experience & Education Required:
  
  • 
    
  • 10+ years of Information Security and/or Privacy roles
    
  • 5+ years in a leadership role Strong career path within enterprise security (network, systems, application & cloud security) and other aspects of IT & Operations at well-recognized organizations
    
  • Solid experience with relevant domestic and international information security and privacy laws, regulations and industry standards including ISO 27000 series, AICPA Trust Services Principles, PCI DSS, HIPAA, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, SOX and GDPR
    
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GPEN/CPTE, CSSLP, and CCFP highly desired
    
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively interface with both technical and business staff
    
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Management Systems or related field
