Join Our Team as an Electromechanical Engineering Associate
Manager where you join the team that creates Wire Harness and Cable
Design for space applications! The team supports multiple lines of
business at Lockheed Martin which means you could be designing
packaging systems for the next mission to Mars or the next
generation of GPS satellites. Location: This position does not
support teleworking ; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin
Space facility in: Sunnyvale CA and be expected to work a flexible
9x80 schedule in the office full-time. What does this role look
like? You will provide leadership, functional management and
technical direction to a team of engineers responsible for
electromechanical engineering research, design, development, and
production support for the Harness Core Team. Key activities you
will accomplish in this role: As a Manager of Cable and Harness
Design, you will be responsible to provide the functional
directorate, program management, and their customers’ effective
project management, accurate and detailed plans and schedules and
efficient production support. You will also be capable of
furthering the department’s development, growth, and expertise. To
be effective in this role, you will need: • We are looking for a
best-in-class leader in the design of Flight Cable & Harness
Design, having lead multiple Program Design Teams and been sought
after as a Subject Matter Expert. You should have extensive
experience in Root Cause Analysis, having proven successes in
leading investigation teams and implementing Corrective Actions. •
You must have demonstrated capability to work with other cross
functional teams and suppliers in a formative environment, as
evidenced by excellent written and verbal communication skills,
demonstrating the ability to organize, motivate, and lead large
groups of diverse personnel that includes customers, partners, and
suppliers that are geographically dispersed. • It is desired that
you personally enjoy helping subordinates, colleagues, and
associates by providing mentoring, career counseling, and technical
help. Demonstration of a positive attitude and adaptability to a
dynamic environment are also desired attributes. • 5 years
professional experience. • While no clearance is needed to start in
this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret

or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent
experience/combined education. • Experience with wire harness and
cables design of electrical\\mechanical interconnects. • US
Citizenship, as this position requires the ability to obtain and
maintain a DoD Secret clearance. Desired skills • Experience with
wire harness and cables design of electrical\\mechanical
interconnects for satellite spacecraft equipment and/or missile
systems. • ECAD and/or MCAD modeling and drafting experience. •
Schematic capture, wire list generation, voltage drop analysis •
Familiarity with Space programs, flight specifications, and/or COTS
electronic equipment/components • Proficiency in Zuken E3 and/or

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be
performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work
Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of
alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance
Information This position requires a government security clearance,
you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual
base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts,
and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado,
Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont,
Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not
referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect
the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary
information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers
factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of
the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key
skills as well as market and business considerations when extending
an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life

$125,600 - $217,695. For states not referenced above, the salary
