Job Description Job Description Cameron-Cole is seeking a
Professional Engineer to support our growing operations. This role
requires a Professional Engineer License in California with the
ability to gain licensure in other states. Hybrid work with some
in-office presence is preferred, but the role can be performed from
a home office from anywhere in the United States. This role is open
to full-time, part-time, on-call, or contract. With little
supervision, this role will be responsible for designing,
installing, and overseeing operation of environmental remediation
systems, ensuring that all plans are accurately followed and
adhered to Cameron-Cole guidelines and procedures. The ideal
candidate will have strong project management skills to work with
colleagues and clients. This role will report to a Director and is
accountable to the Senior Staff. This person should have strong
client relationships and project management skills, and broad
experience in California and/or Florida with environment projects
including contaminated site restoration subsurface investigations,
and environmental permitting and compliance (air/water/waste).
Essential job functions include: - Excellent communication with
demonstrated advanced writing skills - Build and maintain long-term
relationships with key clients by providing technical expertise,
attending client meetings, and leading project developments -
Manage assigned projects, including budget tracking, invoice
approval, and team management, and provide high-level consulting -
Participate in the proposal and budget creation process - Design
and operate remediation systems in accordance with state and local
requirements - Writing and preparation of reports and
presentations, including tables, charts, and graphs - Provide
technical direction and oversight as well as mentoring and training
to junior-level staff - Field oversight of subsurface
investigations, pilot tests, and other environmental projects Core
Competencies - Contaminated site restoration - Remediation design,
installation, and operation - Environmental Compliance and
Permitting - Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) -
In situ soil and groundwater treatment technologies - Vapor
Intrusion Mitigation Systems design, operation and maintenance -
Technical oversight and project management - Advanced skills in
project management Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in
Engineering from ABET accredited university - Progressive
experience with Remediation in environmental consulting -
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in California - Ability to
obtain registrations in other states - OSHA HAZWOPR 40-hour
(Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) - A valid

This role is preferred as an in-office opportunity and is based out
of our Alameda, California Location. This role routinely uses

position operates in both a professional office setting and outdoor
settings relating to environmental fieldwork. Staff should be
equally comfortable in both environments. While performing the

periods of time sitting in front of a computer or laptop. The
employee is required to have finger dexterity. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision, distance
