• This is a senior level position in application/system engineering.
• Responsibilities include defining controllers, analog IC and module products for AI and HPC applications, developing and debugging reference circuits internally and with strategic customers, writing datasheets and application/design notes, and providing technical support and training.Essential Functions:
  • Define and design power converter ICs, Power Modules, and Controllers, including 48V DC/DC module products with isolated and non-isolated topologies.
  • Develop application reference circuits and system-level power management solutions for AI, HPC, and Server applications.
  • Support customer design-in activities including schematic & layout reviews, board bring-up, system-level validation, and debugging of technical problems.
  • Use SIMPLIS simulation to optimize PDN, VR tuning, and provide the best solutions to customers.
  • Write datasheets, application notes, and design notes to promote MPS products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive power solutions for CPU, GPU, ASIC, and SoC.Qualifications/Requirements:
    • 8+ years of hands-on experience in switch mode power supply designs, especially in multi-phase core power design or isolated topology.
    • Hands-on lab experience with digital oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, eLoad, and network analyzers for VR testing and debugging.
    • Experience with schematic entry, Simplis circuit simulation, PDN analysis tools, and PCB layout tools.
    • Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
    • Fluent communication skills in English.
    • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
    • Prior experience in defining power management ICs or power modules is highly preferred.Education:
