Lend us your skills and enjoy a great career with Chevron.We are looking for a motivated and skilled person to become a member of the IT Foundation Platform (ITFP) Cloud Identity and Access Management (I) Directory Services Product Team. The team is responsible for all of Chevron's critical directory services platforms and technologies. In this role, you will develop, implement, optimize, and maintain hybrid and Cloud-hosted I solutions. As a key component of the central IT function within Chevron's CTC (Chevron Technology Center), the I team has responsibility for the critical platforms, tools, and services that provide authorization / authentication capabilities across every Chevron business unit. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:Manage identity objects within Active Directory or Azure Active Directory.Modernize application authentication and authorization.Identify, scope, develop, and implement automation.Support new project deployments, as well as the life-cycling of existing I systems, platforms, and applications.Understand the nuances of different cloud solutions (hybrid, public, private, multi-cloud, on-prem) and implications for solution design and deployment.Support escalation-level operations issues when required.Provide for the identification, analysis, and resolution of I infrastructure, middleware, and application vulnerabilities.Mentor and assist other team members to ensure cross-training and overall organizational capability.Required Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of IT experience in an enterprise-class environment.Knowledge of identity and access management systems and role-based access control.Experience and demonstrated capability in Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and identity lifecycle management.Experience with federated authentication and authorization.Skills and demonstrated experience administering Active Directory, Network Services (IP, DHCP, DNS and WINS), group policy object (GPO) management.Experience deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting Microsoft Windows.Server 2012R2 / 2016 / 2019 / 2022 servers (IaaS), in single-server or clustered virtual and physical configurations.Experience providing design, testing and implementation support for and participation in internally driven platform deployment or lifecycle projects, and/or customer-facing projects.Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to document the infrastructure.Excellent time management, organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Skills developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts to automate system maintenance and monitoring.Preferred Qualifications:2-year Associates degree or higher, in technology or a related business discipline.Related Microsoft certification(s) or other related vendor or IT certifications.Relocation Options:Relocation may be considered.International Considerations:Expatriate assignments will not be considered.Chevron regrets that it is unable to sponsor employment Visas or consider individuals on time-limited Visa status for this position.Flexible WorkingChevron offers a complete package and provides career development opportunities to all employees.
