Job Description Job Description Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician Pay: $26-$35/hr Shift : 2nd shift from Monday to Friday, 2pm-10:30pm, or an overnight schedule from 6pm-6:30am on a 2,2,3 schedule Job Description Monitor production areas to ensure proper functioning of assigned equipment and intervene for repairs as necessary. Utilize all manner of hand and power tools to diagnose, adjust, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Review work orders to ensure accuracy and maintain documentation of work performed. Assist with installation of new equipment or modify existing equipment as required. Provide training to peers as requested or needed by maintenance lead, supervisor, or training department. Make suggestions for corrective measures when downtime results from mechanical or technical defects. Attend maintenance meetings and trainings as required. Identify opportunities for improvement and provide feedback to supervisor about cost reduction, quality improvement, and yield control. Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Minimum of 6 months industrial maintenance experience. Associate’s degree or higher in Mechatronics, Electrical, Welding, or similar fields preferred. Previous experience working with VFD’s (Variable Frequency Drive) preferred. The environment requires adherence to safety standards and the wearing of appropriate PPE. Be prepared to work in a refrigerated environment ranging from 45-50 degrees Fahrenheit.
