Position: Marketing Communications Specialist

Location: East Bay

Starts: As soon as the right candidate is identified

Duration: Full-Time

Status: Full-Time

Rate: Annually up to $65-$70K + Benefits

Our nonprofit healthcare client is looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist to join their team full-time, onsite in San Ramon, CA!

To be considered for this position you must have the following:

Excellent writing skills
Self-starter, ability to take initiative
Ability to be humble and compassionate

The Marketing Communications Specialist will:
- Develop and write content for client's digital platforms including the website, social media, blog, and email
- Develop creative content marketing and social media calendars
- Create engaging social media campaigns in support of awareness months and industry events
- Edit and proofread press releases, pitches, fact sheets, messaging, byline articles, case studies, white papers, social media posts, and media summaries
  
  The ideal Marketing Communications Specialist should possess the following:
  - 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or corporate communications; agency experience preferred
  - Ability to develop, implement, and execute successful public relations campaigns
  - Some experience working with the media, writing and executing pitches, key messages, and communications materials
  - Some experience with social media content creation and community management
  - Proficient in all Microsoft Suite products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  - Proficient with online social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
