Marketing and Communications Manager - SR 21-044 1. The Marketing and Communications Manager recommends, develops, implements, and evaluates marketing, communications and brand strategies for Hill Physicians Medical Group and a group practice, Hill Health. This role develops strategies and tactics to influence membership growth and retention, and as a shared-services group, provides communications advice and support to help achieve corporate clinical, technology and talent acquisition objectives. The ideal candidate will have broad prior experience including digital marketing, branding, advertising, events, social media and content/communications. S/He must be an exceptional writer, editor and strategic thinker who is organized and able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously to meet tight deadlines. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and manages one direct report. Job Responsibilities Communications: Creates and implements communications strategies to support business objectives. Copy-edits and drafts content for the following but not limited to:

  • Large scale projects such as annual reports and magazines
  • Email/electronic communications
  • Website content
  • Ad content (print, digital/mobile)
  • Corporate communications (press releases, intranet content, internal communications) Project manages requests, including those from internal stakeholders, serving as the client interface between internal stakeholders and Marketing, setting timelines and desired outcomes. Partners with graphic designer for branding and design. Coordinates with printers and mail houses as needed. Marketing: Works closely with the Director to develop and execute creative and impactful marketing strategies for Hill Physicians, aligned with business objectives. Marketing tactics include direct mail, partner marketing/co-marketing, on-site physician office marketing, and evolution of digital assets including but not limited to content on HillPhysicians.com, HillHealth.com, social media and advertising (print, social, SEM). Creates and manages the editorial calendar. Partners closely with the Product Manager, Websites to contribute to the website(s) roadmap and provide content or brand needs for websites. Regularly collects performance metrics, provides analyses, and optimizes programs. Events: Responsible for end-to-end management of consumer (community events, employer health fairs, open enrollment events, etc.) and B2B events. Supports the promotion prior to and during events, works with event hosts to identify and secure events, coordinates attendees/participants, creates signage and collateral, and manages inventory of materials. May occasionally attend events. Brand Management: Ensures brand consistency in all collateral, communications, and events. Identifies opportunities and supports initiatives that strategically build the organization's brand. Partners with HR and Director to ensure the strength of the employer brand. Recommends, documents and champions efforts to improve brand through process improvement or standardization. Additional Responsibilities

      • Five or more years of experience in marketing with progressive responsibilities; healthcare/managed care marketing experience preferred
      • Written Communication: Exceptional writing and editing skills, clearly using appropriate grammar and terminology.--
      • Multi-tasking:--Ability to manage high-volume workload and carry out multiple projects with tight deadlines simultaneously.
      • Creativity: Ability to generate ideas and solutions to routine challenges and new ventures.--
      • Analytical Thinking:--Ability to analyze information, compare, contrast, trend data and draw conclusions.
      • Critical Thinking:--Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
      • Leadership:--Appropriately optimistic and inspiring. Willingness to lead, take charge, and offer opinions and direction.
      • Teamwork:--Works effectively with team members to accomplish objectives and goals. Can also take initiative and work autonomously. Required Education
        • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or other highly desired. Additional Comments
