Specialist Job Description The Logistics Specialist is responsible
for executing customer vehicle relocation services orders and
supporting business operations. Key activities include customer
order management and execution, communication through email and
telephone with staff, independent contractors, and pickup and
delivery contacts, and maintaining accurate data in each order
tracked in the CRM system. Responsibilities Manage execution of
customer orders by timely coordinating and scheduling the pickup
and delivery of customer vehicles while ensuring customer
instructions are precisely followed. Ensure orders are efficiently
executed through the linking of multiple orders. Oversee accurate
and timely completion of additional services including vehicle
detailing, titling/registration, and vehicle placement into
storage. Communicate promptly by email, telephone, and CRM with
staff, independent contractors, and pickup and delivery contacts,
escalating issues to management as appropriate. Update CRM
activities and notes promptly and maintain accurate data after each
telephone call and email communication, including uploading photos
and scanned documents. Ensure compliance with company policies and
procedures and adherence to applicable DOT regulations and Federal,
State, and Local laws. Calculate and offer flat fees on orders by
emailing bid sheets to all independent contractors in the manager's
absence or through managerial direction. Manage the storage
facility, where applicable, by overseeing vehicle movement in and
out of the facility to customers, detail shops, and repair shops
using VIN and order verifications. Check vehicles in and out,
review them for damage and issues, take inventory of items left in
vehicles, and move vehicles in and out of the lot for driver
pickup. Account for all cars on the lot, ensure vehicles are
starting, and communicate issues to headquarters before
reactivation. Essential Skills Ability to learn and utilize all
systems and equipment, including updates and upgrades. Provide
outstanding customer service and keep customers informed of
developments. Monitor and manage the team dashboard and complete
tasks to keep orders moving. Demonstrate time management skills and
follow through to completion. Respond and act confidently,
assertively, and decisively while taking responsibility and
accountability for position requirements. Additional Skills &
Qualifications High School Diploma. Comfortable working in a
fast-paced office environment while multi-tasking and being
detail-oriented. Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft
Office Excel, data entry, and CRM experience. Strong communication
skills, both verbal and written. At least 6 months of customer
service experience; inventory experience is a plus. Ability to type
at least 37 words per minute. Work Environment This is an onsite
position that is located in Marysville, OH. The work schedule is
Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. The environment is
fast-paced, similar to an Outside Operations role, requiring
comfort in interacting with independent contractors to assign
orders and serve as the main point of contact. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marysville, OH.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 -
$20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may
depend on your job classification and length of employment.
