Position: Software Engineer III (San Ramon, CA) Robert Half International Inc., founded in 1948, is a $3.77

and skills to clients anywhere in the world. Duties: Analyze, design, develop, debug, test, and implement
PeopleSoft HRMS and Time & Labor applications. Perform completion of
SDLC documentation and procedures for all phases of the software
development lifecycle. Interact with analysts, developers, users,
integration partners and vendors to define system requirements and modifications.
Analyze system complexity, prepare feasibility studies that specify
solutions, and identify costs. Specialize in developing programs for business
or technical applications. Independently develop large and complex
modules and components of larger system designs and release to
production environment. Recreate steps taken by user to locate source of
problem and rewrite programs to correct errors. Modify, repair, and expand
existing programs, applications, and systems to correct errors, increase
efficiency, and upgrade interfaces. Perform code reviews, unit tests,
planning and execution for software code validation as well as reviewing unit
test plans and results. Prepare documentation to describe program
development, logic, coding and corrections. Create documents for production support
activities and troubleshooting techniques. Mentor team members and
promote collaboration. Define integration test strategies and plan.
Analyze and resolve complex production issues. Monitor performance of codes
and processes after implementation. Support developed applications
in the production environment. Recommend system efficiencies and
improvements. Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in
Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
and three (3) years of experience designing and developing PeopleSoft
Enterprise Management, Financials, and HRMS applications; OR, in the
alternative: a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science,
Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and five (5)
years of experience as indicated above Also requires demonstrated expertise: designing, building,
testing, implementing, and deploying PeopleSoft Tools, including
Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, WorkFlow, Component
Interface, Tree Manager, PS Security, Change Assistant and Data Mover; and
performing PeopleSoft Implementation and Upgrades and PeopleSoft Patches
and Tax Updates; designing, building, testing, implementing, and
deploying integration of PeopleSoft applications using Integration
broker, Application messaging, SOAP, XML, Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets,
EJB, JDBC, HTML, Web Services, JavaScript and Eclipse; designing, building,
testing, implementing, and deploying codes in SQL database Oracle,
DB2/UDB, SQL Server and Oracle SQL performance tuning; designing, building,
testing, implementing, and deploying PeopleSoft Reporting using XML
Publisher, SQR, Crystal Reports, nVision, Cognos, MS Visio, MS Access, Excel,
Oracle and PL/SQL, and Data Warehousing tools ,including Ascential
DataStage and Informatica; designing, configuring, testing, implementing and
deploying PeopleSoft Enterprise Management, Financials, and HRMS
applications for system configuration and setup of organizational attributes;
designing, configuring, testing, implementing and deploying PeopleSoft
Security Administration to include role grant functions, Workflow,
PeopleSoft Security configurations, Query Security, User Preferences, and
row Level Security; and leveraging, implementing and deploying Quest Stat
for Version Control, applying patches and fixes and project migrations,
scheduling tools including Control-M to manage multi-system process
dependencies, and Unix shell scripting to automate batch processing and implement
